[the Editor having a good Time] The Sessions in De Waag in Haarlem, Hofman Cafe in Utrecht, De Muse in Malden, the Pianobar in Volendam and Gunnery's in Alkmaar STOPPED!!!
But the Instrumental Session in Het Moddermannetje in Alkmaar continues after the dead of session leader Jack Schroevers on 2009-05-20. His spirit will live-on.
The Session in Hard Times in Vlaardingen stopped, but there is a NEW Session on Thursdays organised by the new folkclub Éist a Stór Folk in Muziekcafe "de Hommel".
The session in Enkhuizen moved from Wednesday to Sunday.
In Haarlem is a NEW session in the new "Irish Pub Tierney's.
Folkkafé de Lantaern has a new location in Zevenaar.

The "Agenda" has a new lay-out:
The "Chronological Agenda" will be short (too time consuming) and the chapters "Sessions", "Agenda of Locations" and "Agenda of Groups" are now most important.

Automatic including of agendas of locations and groups is now possible.
See "Input Request".
This can help me keeping the "Agenda" up-to-date.
So locations and groups are invited to contact me about it.
Please have a look at the examples in the Agenda.

More Input in the Inbox.
It can not be implemented at once.
So please be patient!, your input will not be forgotten.
In case of lack of time, the subpage "Groups.." and the listing of Sessions in "Agenda" have priority.

People are kindly requested
to send the new URLs of your WWW sites.
Or please tell, whether your linked WWW site is deleted or your regular Session stopped.

Credits.

Thanks to all people that sent information (please do not blame me for not mentioning you).

Most special thanks to De Digitale Stad (DDS) (Amsterdam) for providing free space on the disks of their servers and providing free Internet access (e-mail and limited WWW and FTP) during the first 5 years (from Spring 1996), which made development this site possible. Now I have to pay, but it is very cheap.

[Made VERY special thanks to Jan Goyvaerts from België (now living in Thailand) for making EditPad.
This site is maintained using Editpad, which is possibly the best and most friendly simple text editor for W95/W98/WNT/WME/WXP/LINUX on our planet. It also helps me a lot in my dayly job making mechanical models and analyses of substructures of spacecrafts (while I installed it semi-legally on my computer at work) (this program can be installed in a clean way, like a DOS- or UNIX/LINUX program).

Thanks to NEWfolkSOUNDS, Stichting Mokum Folk and The Claddagh for announcements of gigs and addresses.

Also thanks to Stichting Volksmuziek Nederland for info in the Folkadressengids (very outdated now, they should provide it online) and in her site and mailings.

Notification of Changes.

If you want to know, whether pages of this site changed, then you can subscribe to the TCMaDiN-Newsmail.
Just send an email to eltjo@dds.nl with subject "Subscribe TCMaDiN-Newsmail".

Input Request.

It is impossible to gather the data actively from the locations and performers, so the author has to depend on data sent to him or gathered from papers etc. So, please do not blame the author for the data not being complete or correct!!

Please send input to Eltjo, Nederland, E-mail: eltjo@dds.nl

No unwanted unsolicited commercial e-mail.

Please no e-mails larger than 100 kbytes, unless it is really necessary!
And please send the mail (including the attachments) in easy and simple platform-and-software-independent, bytes-efficient and virus-free plain text !!!.
(Note: files created using Ms/Word are NOT plain text, unless the files are really saved as plain text!!! and mails sent by Ms/OutlookExpress are NOT plain text, unless you send them really as plain text!!!, despite you did not use any formatting).

Please check first whether the info is already listed! (that will save me a lot of time).

If you have a good agenda on your WWW-site, it can be easier and better to send me notifications of change.
Please make an appointment about that.

Very handy is automatic including of agendas of Locations, Groups. and agencies or other organisations
Please put your agenda in a simple plain-text file or simple html file (no pictures and no videos) on the WWW and send me the URL.
Then test, how it works-out.
You can place the anchor <A NAME="START"></A> on the spot, where your Agenda really starts.

You can also send me updates of your agendas in plain-text files or simple html files, and then I will upload it to the WWW for you (I have plenty of space there). On request I will send you templates/examples of such files.

The Agenda is a kind of central on-line database of Celtic music and dance events in Nederland.
It helps finding double and ghost bookings.
The data are used by "The Claddagh News", the "Amsterdamse Folkagenda", "Irish Music Magazine" and "NEWfolkSOUNDS".

Note, the editor is restricted by the following privacy rules:
personal data are only included at people's own request!!.
