STENDELAAR.

STENDELAAR started with playing all kinds of West-European instrumental traditional music. Gradualy the band played mostly Irish music. The band played only instrumentals.

STENDELAAR was a pure hobby band.
All band members were living in Amsterdam in Nederland, but are now scattered over this planet.

He is now living in Saudi Arabia.

Jantien

Silver flute.
Member from Apr.1986 to the end.
She is now living in county Clare, Ireland.

Egon Kraak

Fiddle, bodhrán, bones.
Member from the start to the end.
He is still very active in playing trad. Irish and Klezmer music.
He is the great inspirer of the people of Rapalje and substitute for their fiddler Dieb.
He is now living in the far East of the province of Groningen, Nederland.

Eltjo Toorn

Piano accordion, mandolin.
Member from the start to the end.
Afterwards he played with "BUSKERS" and "SHANNON".
He plays now in "BiO" together with Thony.
He is now living in Monnickendam near Amsterdam and teached himself to play the whistle and the melodeon.

Fiddle.

Anthony (Thony) de Waal

Cittern.
Member from March 1986 to the end.
After a long period he is very active again in playing trad. Irish music.
He plays now in "BiO" together with Eltjo.
He is living in Amsterdam, Nederland, and teached himself to play the mandola, whistle, flute and bodhrán.
