Mokum Folk Samenspeelmiddag in De Portugees.

"Samenspeelmiddag" organised by Stichting Mokum Folk every first Sunday of the month, 14:00 h.
This is an open session with all kinds of traditional and folk music (incl. a lot of Celtic).
This is a nice session with a relaxed atmosphere (also suitable for simple musicians), and therefore it is a nice replacement for The String, which had been closed in the spring of 1995.
It started in Café de Meester, Zeedijk 30.
But the owner - Piet van Rees - died on 1997-02-11, see Stichting Piet van Rees.
Since June 1997 these sessions were in Café de Mol, Zeedijk 20, Amsterdam.
And since February 1998 these sessions were in Portugees Restaurant & Bar "Lusitania", Zeedijk 14, Amsterdam.
And since June 1999 these sessions are in "De Portugees", Zeedijk 28a, Amsterdam.
