BUSKERS.
BUSKERS (Note: this is not The Buskers = 2 Fureys + Davey Arthur) existed from 1984 until the autumn of 1995.
BUSKERS was a band, playing vocal and instrumental Traditional Irish Music (and also some related music, like Scottish). The band played songs and instrumentals, with an emphasis on the songs.
BUSKERS was a pure hobby band and the musicians played on a non-professional basis.
On 2002-04-13 we had a reunion concert in Noord-Scharwoude with the musicians shown below.

End 1992 and begin 1993 BUSKERS made a CD with the musicians shown above.
It was named "Kilshannig" after the village in Ireland, where the musicians of the band spent their holiday in the summer of 1992.
For more information, see the homepage of the band KILSHANNIG.
This CD have had an reissue of another 500 and in Spring or Summer 1999 it will have another reissue (now with a booklet with songtexts).
The band KILSHANNIG organises this and sells them (at their gigs).
It is a bit confusing: the band Kilshannig has the same name as the CD of Buskers.
